Update!

So I've finally updated my Blog; at least the way it looks, a little. Ok so I basically spent 2 hours fiddling around with the darn thing to have it look basically the same just a slightly different backround and a somewhat updated picture. I guess this is why I rarely get on here. I spend way too much time playing with it and not enough time actually posting anything of interest to anyone.

I'm resolving, again, to do better. I really want to have a cute blog, like so many of my cute cousins and friends, that post adorable Pictures with short, might I ephasize short comments. Short comments is one thing I don't think I've ever been able to manage, in any aspect of my life but I guess there is a first for everything. ;0)

Slacker?

So I was reading my cousin Jamie's blog and she thought she was a slacker for not posting for a month or two, I'm not sure what that would make me then, since I last posted in January. :0!

Anyhow, just some updates from the Carmean Clan: Tim had surgery on his hand the end of March, thanks to "Church Ball". Actually it was just a pick-up game at the church, but for some reason some people like to think they are "playing" pro-ball. ;0p

July 1st I was fortunate to get a job working for Harmon's in their Accounting Department, and I love it! However, I do miss my days with my little Bry Guy.

Last but not least, the "funnest". Aug. 14th I walked out to the parking lot at work to head to a Dr's appointment and couldn't find my car. I mean I know I have a little "youngtimers" but I was pretty sure I knew where I left my car. Not wanting to freak out, I went in and got a gal at work to come look with me, because boy would I have felt stupid calling the cops and low and behold I just couldn't open my eyes, right! So she helped me look and walks up to me and says, " Uh, Jenn, I think your car is gone". Still in denial that someone would want my 15 yr old car with 190,000 miles, I called Tim just to make sure he hadn't gotten off early and was playing a prank on me. Well, no luck, so I finally gave in and called W.V.C. P.D. and our insurance company. The next morning my car was found in a neighborhood about 1 1/2 miles North of my work, everything looked fine walking up to it, then you look under the hood, and you could step in to where, used to be, my engine. I guess they were pretty poor *wink* cuz they needed the transmission too.

Needless to say we are now looking for another car because the insurance company totaled it. Boy do I miss my little Civic, but I'm glad that someone else made the decision for me, when to get rid of it, because I was having a hard time wanting to get rid of it. Don't get me wrong, I want a new car, but it has been my baby for almost 12 yrs, ya know! It's been good though; I get to sit between my two boys wherever we go since all 3 of us ride in Tim's pick-up. Pretty cozy with a car seat!

Oh, I almost forgot, the most recent thing was getting rid of our two sweet cats. We needed to get rid of them and couldn't find a home for them so one day while I was at work Tim and Bryant took them to the Humane Society. We sure miss them, but sometimes we have to make grown up decisions even though it makes us sad and cry.

On a happier note, I'm excited for fall! I love the cool air and being able to wear jeans and sweaters, and my knee-high boots. I love Halloween too! It's so cute, the other day, Bryant tells me he wants to be Batman for Halloween and he wants me to be Cat Woman. I laughed so hard, it cracked me up that he came up with that on his own. I asked him who his Dad should be and he said, ummmm..... he can be Joker! So this should be a pretty memorable and interesting Halloween coming up with costumes.

So Fun!!!

Many of you that read my blog, one, know that I'm not very religious about blogging, but I love reading other peoples; and two that I'm a beauty consultant. Well, for the later, I'm super excited because I just got my own website, so nice. If everyone one would do me a favor, if you're interested, and click on my link under "places I visit with my "free" time, or whatever the crap I called it, and take a look around and let me know what you think. You can also register on my site to receive info from me and send my link to your friends, which by the way, e-mailing my link to your friends through the site, will not give me any of their info. However, it will help me a great deal by exposing my info to more people, and if they choose to they can look at it.

I'm so grateful to have such supportive friends and family, no matter what area I have decided to pursue my career in; which by the way, I finally got my diploma from SLCC, after graduating back in August. I can't even tell you how much my schooling is helping me with running my own business, I'm so appreciative of Tim and his hard work to help me get through with my degree, such a great feeling. Having told you lots of what's in my head at this insane hour, I hope everyone is having a great New Year!

Arizona!

Ok...well...I'm not sure where to start this one. For those of you who didn't know that we were planning on moving this fall, we aren't now. And for those of you who did know, we've decided not to. For many various reasons we have decided to stay where we are at for now. The short story is that we prayed a lot about it, I went down to Phoenix a number of times and the last time, when I went down for job interviews, it didn't feel right. It's been kind of hard to explain to some people that we felt so strongly about going, to the point we had registered Tim for classes that started September 1, and then all of the sudden it didn't feel right. We couldn't figure out why. For all logical reasons (If you know me at all every thing is analyzed and is either logical or not logical) it was the right thing for our family to do. Well, a few weeks after we decided not to move Tim and I where home one night watching the news, and following what had happened that day with the economy and the stock markets; things haven't looked so great over all since. Anyhow, that night Tim told me that he had the feeling that this is the exact reason why we weren't supposed to leave right now and I agreed.

I'm thankful for a Heavenly Father that loves me. Even though, I am so analytical at times, I'm grateful that he can still touch my heart and help me to listen for answers to prayers; even when I'm not so sure why things are happening the way they are.

What do you mean you missed?

So this morning we started potty training Bryant. Last night I thought I was going to be so excited to do it, right now I'm not so sure what I was thinking. j/k
Yesterday while at Nana's house he told her that he needed to Poop so she took him to the toilet and lo and behold he did it. Later when I talked to her she told me that he's ready to train. (By the way, I'm not doing it just because my Mom said that he's ready, we've been thinking about it for a while). So, Tim and I went to the store last night and got him training underwear, dang things are so expensive, but thankfully reusable. It's going alright and we're doing the treat thing every time he goes and boy do we act like we've never been so excited for anything in our whole lives. Whoever reads this needs to leave me little notes on what worked for you or any advice you might have; it will help me feel reassured. Until next time, when you feel like crying just smile, that's what I'm going to do next time I'm cleaning up pee spots.

Crazy!!!

So I'm now babysitting one of Bryant's friends on Tuesday and Thursday "All Day", the little boy tells me when he leaves, "see you Tuesday All Day"; anyway I think it's kind of cute. But I think some days I'm going to kill Bryant. His little friend is fine but Bryant is totally going through this power struggle thing and fights with him over just about everything. I want to let them have there little fights so they can learn to deal with conflict but I'm not sure how else to help him over come it? Please, I know most of you reading this have dealt with this because, you either have 2 or more kids or have boys, and lets face it boys just like to fight; let me know what you have done or would do in this case.

Freedom Day

For the 4th we made last minute plans and went to Tim's parents'. We had a fun BBQ and then went to Magna Park (the end of the world) for fireworks. We then had a great time making Smores in their outside living area; it was a blast! We finished off the night with more fireworks in the backyard and Bryant didn't like them too much. He thought Papa was to close to the fire and was going to get hurt. Tim was super exhausted by the end of the night so we ended up sleeping over at Papa and Grandma's house. Bryant had so much fun and thought it was funny to jump on the air mattress while mommy tried to sleep, we had a great time.
